4-H Cooking club meets
The 4-H Cooking Club 101 held its regular meeting on Nov. 4, at the extension office.
The meeting was called to order by Alex Sandeen at 6 p.m., and roll call was answered by 10 members of the club.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved by the group.
After the approval of the minutes, the treasurer’s report was given.
The discussion about old business and unfinished business included the awards that were earned at the Chili Cook Off and the 4-H awards night.
An upcoming bake sale at Shottenkirk and Fair book ads were discussed for new business within the club.
The activity for the meeting included decoration potatoes and plating them for presentation. After the activity the meeting was adjourned by saying the motto “Make the best better.”
The 4-H Cooking Club will meet again on Dec. 2, at the extension office. Presentations will be given by Lizzi and Breeana, and the activity will be cookie trays.
