Anthony Frank “Tony” Meierotto, 82, West Point, died Monday May 6, 2013, at the Great River Klein Center in West Burlington.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point where the family will meet with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening. There will be a Christian Wake Service at 6 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. James the Less Catholic Church in St. Paul.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at St. James the Less Catholic Church in St. Paul with Father Gary Beckman as Celebrant. Burial will be in the St. James Cemetery in St. Paul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Catholic Church.

Born May 6, 1931, at St. Paul, he was the son of Edward and Elizabeth Vantiger Meierotto.
On Oct. 21, 1972, he married Helen Schroeder. She preceded him in death.
He was a member of St. James the Less Catholic Church in St. Paul, a member of the NFO for 50 years and the singles in agriculture.
He attended St. James School in St Paul. He was a lifelong farmer and did field tiling for area farmers. He raised and sold organic produce at local farmers markets.
Survivors include one sister, Elizabeth Krogmeier of Ft. Madison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; three brothers, Conrad, Lawrence and Paul; one sister, Margaret; and two brothers and one sister in infancy.
