Birds of a feather flock together

A flock of geese enjoyed this week’s January thaw just below the dam at Oakland Mills. Water has been running over the dam and the ice cover on the Skunk River is slowly evaporating. The thaw is expected to continue this week before a return to normal sub-freezing winter temperatures next week.
