Bomb threat forces evacuation at WACO Junior/Senior High
WAYLAND — WACO Junior-Senior High School in Wayland was evacuated late morning Tuesday due to a bomb threat, according to school officials. The elementary school in Crawfordsville was placed on lockdown.
According to school personnel, a message was written in the girls’ locker room. Students were evacuated to the football field.
In a press release from the district, school officials said authorities were notified and the district implemented emergency procedures. “After a brief time, the campus was determined to be safe for students and staff, and classes resumed as scheduled.”
