“Changing behaviors to prevent falls” program at REC Center
Henry County Health Center and the Mt. Pleasant REC Center are offering a free community program on Thursday, April 17, at 9:15 a.m. at the Rec Center. Dan Berner, Lifeline Coordinator at HCHC, will present a program about “Changing behaviors to prevent falls” and the benefits of Lifeline’s new Medical Alert Service Option to Falls Safety.
The public is invited to attend the presentation; you need not be a REC Center member to attend.
When you experience a fall, medical issue, or other emergency, every second counts. If you are alone, delayed medical care can jeopardize your recovery and your independence.
This is one program in a series of educational sessions that will be offered each month by HCHC at the Rec Center.
HCHC is partnering with the Mt. Pleasant REC Center to offer educational programs to enhance the health of individuals and communities.
