Charlotte Ann Spray-Wells
Charlotte Ann Spray-Wells, 71, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at her home in Oceanside, Calif., while under the care of hospice.
There will be no services. Memorials may be made to an animal shelter or Habitat for Humanity of donor’s choice.
She was born March 6, 1942, in the Hillsboro Post Office to Raymond Richard Spray and Vivian Louise Thornton Spray. She spent her early years growing up on the George V. Leffler farm near Stockport. She completed 8th grade at Frog Pond Rural School (Cedar #7). She attended Stockport High School and was a member of the first graduating class from Harmony High School in Farmington in l960.
In l963, she relocated to Los Angeles, Calif., with husband, Andy Wells. While in Los Angeles, she pursued her career as a tax accountant. After relocating to Oceanside, Calif., she continued her career at G.E. Capital & Deloitte & Touche in the San Diego area, retiring in September of 2009.
On Oct. 5, l993, she married Joseph Koon Se Dung. Her favorite activities included volunteer work with Junior Achievement and being a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed Oceanside Library Life Story writing class.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Dung of Oceanside, Calif.; her children, Andrea (Stan) Wells Krysiak of Erie, Pa., and Bryan (Patty) Wells, Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren; brother, Dan (Shirley) Spray of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Christine and Jeanne Spray of Los Angeles, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
