Clarence Stanley Janeba, 88, of Farmington, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the Van Buren Good Samaritan Home in Keosauqua.
Friends may call after 1 pm. Friday, May 3, at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Farmington with the family meeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Farmington with the Rev. Doug Harding officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Greenglade Cemetery in Farmington.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Born April 6, 1925, at Cedar Rapids, he was the son of Joseph and Florence Marie Horner Janeba. On June 6, 1948, he married Shirley Eileen Wollam.
He was a controller for One Day Paint and Body. He was a member of the Center Chapel United Methodist Church, the VFW, the Farmington American Legion and the Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting and reading history of wars. He served in the Navy Sea Bees in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Farmington; one daughter, Nora (David) Lasky of Denver, Colo.; two sons, John (Patsy) Janeba of Monument, Colo., and Mark (Mary Lou) Janeba of Salem, Ore.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
