Delbert "Bert" Koller
Delbert “Bert” Koller, 82, of Donnellson died as a result of burn injuries on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics The injuries were a result of a fiery accident on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2013, on his farm near Donnellson.
Friends called after noon on Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson. The family will meet with friends from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services are to be be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at the Zion Mennonite Church in Donnellson, with the Rev. Marcia Yoder-Schrock officiating.
Burial will be at the Zion Mennonite Cemetery in Donnellson.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Mennonite Cemetery or the Donnellson Fire and Rescue.

Born March 22, 1931, in Donnellson, he was the son of Walter and Mildred (Krebill) Koller. On Sept. 21, 1957, he married Shirley Maxine Logue.
He graduated from Donnellson High School in 1949. He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and was active in the American Legion. He was a member of the Zion Mennonite Church in Donnellson. He was a lifelong farmer and had worked for the Mt. Hamill Elevator.
Survivors include his wife; one son, David Koller of Redondo Beach, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Leland.
