Doris I. Glover, 91, of Mt. Pleasant died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, at 10 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Earl Swigart officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Friday at the Murphy Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial has been established in her memory.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1922, in rural Henry County, the daughter of Glen and Anna Pearl Moxley Haines. She graduated from Winfield High School in the class of 1940. She married Keith E. Glover on Aug. 2, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death. Doris was a homemaker and had worked at Harrison Drugstore in Mt. Pleasant. She was a member of the Salem American Legion Auxiliary, Questers and Congregational Church of Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Liz) Glover of Lockridge, Gary (Vickie) Glover of Keosauqua, and Gene (Jenny) Glover of Salem; eight grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 24 step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her brother, Don Haines of Mt. Pleasant; her sister, Erma McCormick of Fairfield; and her special friend, Dale Green of Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one granddaughter and four brothers, Raymond, Bill, Kenny and Dean.
