Douglas Noble, 52, Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Mt. Pleasant.
A visitation will begin at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. that evening. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Born April 13, 1961, in Muscatine, he was the son of Dean Edward and Betty Jean (George) Noble. He was a 1982 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. On March 9, 1985, he married Karen S. Hanna in Mt. Pleasant. The couple later divorced.
He was a cement finisher, worked for H. Eugene Smith Construction, and most recently was employed by Robert L. Smith Construction.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, metal detecting, coin collecting, arrowhead collecting, fishing, camping and cooking.
Survivors include two daughters, Krystal (Edgar) Perez and Laura Noble, both of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Kyle Noble of Mt. Pleasant; a grandson; three brothers, Mike (Judy Gholson) Noble of Salem, Danny Noble of New London, and Dean Noble of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Lynn (Kenny) Szewczyk; and special friend, Sandra Hoover of Wayland.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Deana “Katy” Brooks, and Debbie Carpenter.
