‘Fame – The Musical’ making tour stop in Burlington Nov. 17
“Fame – The Musical” continues its North American tour this season with a stop in Burlington Thursday, Nov. 17, at Burlington Memorial Auditorium.
The performance, which begins at 7:30 p.m., is sponsored by the John H. Witte Jr. Foundation.
Based on the Oscar-winning film and Emmy-winning television series, “Fame – The Musical” reached more than 60 million people in more than 30 countries when it last toured in 2003. This year, it returns in a new presentation produced by the veteran team of James Murtha and William Weir, and under the direction of Dom Ruggiero.
The show will feature cameos by several area residents.
Single tickets may be bought through Burlington Civic Music by calling 319-752-0336, or at the Port of Burlington Welcome Center every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets also will be available at Memorial Auditorium the night of the show.
