Fan appreciation night at 34 Raceway July 6
WEST BURLINGTON — Once again rain forced the cancellation of racing action at 34 Raceway on Saturday, June 29, but race fans can look forward to some special upcoming events.
The Brockway Mechanical Sprint Invaders 360 sprints will take to the track on Wednesday, July 3, for a re-scheduled May 25 rain out. Shoot for the Stars 360 sprint format will include a pit stop and fan interaction mid race. Mod Lites, I Connect You/Louisa Communications Four-Cylinders and Vintage cars will add to the program with the Mod Lites and Four-Cylinders racing for track points. Stick around after the completion of the final race of the night for a huge fireworks display.
Coming up Saturday, July 6, will be Rockstar & KILJ Radio night with the popular Fan Appreciation Night, which features a discouted admission price. W.T.Gabeline and Sons Trucking 305 Sprints, Coors Silver Bullet IMCA Modifieds, Weikert Iron and Metals IMCA Sport Mods, Pepsi IMCA Stock Cars, I Connect You/Louisa Communications Four-Cylinders and Mod Lites will be in action competing for track points. Kids 10 and under are admitted free.
34 Raceway is bringing another event to the 3/8 mile on July 13 when the Pepsi UMP Summer Nationals Hell Tour makes at stop on the high bank with $10,000 up for grabs to win the UMP Late Model feature event. The best in UMP late model racing will go all out for this high dollar payout. 4 wheelers and pit bikes will be also be back for the first time since their huge turnout on May 25 races at 34 Raceway. Also competing will be the Weikert Iron and Metal IMCA Sport Mods and I Connect You/Louisa Communications Four-Cylinders.
