First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant has announced “Worship Jam,” a new worship time “jammed” into your week on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7 p.m.

This new worship time is an opportunity for those who work Sundays, are serving in the nursery on Sundays, or otherwise can’t make it Sunday mornings to have a time of worship with our First Baptist Church family. It’s also for those who may be seeking God, but aren’t comfortable on Sunday mornings.

This informal come-as-you-are worship will be non-traditional in style and will be simple and short. It will not be a re-run of Sunday, so it is also an opportunity to join in worship midweek as a supplement to Sunday worship. You don’t have to choose one or the other.

The church will be offering its BYG (Baptist Youth Group) for grades 6-12 from 7 to 8 p.m. following Worship Jam.

There will also be adult Bible studies and BK5 (for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade) starting on March 20.
