Frank signs with UW-Parkside
Mt. Pleasant’s Cameron Frank has signed his letter of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and play basketball for the Rangers next season.
“It’s a good program — they went 20-9 last year — and I wanted to play at the Division II level,” Frank said, explaining why he chose UW-Parkside. “(I look forward to) competing with other people who are just trying to be the best players they can be, especially in practice, where you get to go against people who competitive and going to push you.”
Frank says he will most likely play point guard for the Rangers, as he did for the Panthers this year.
The Mt. Pleasant senior, who plans to major in business, also enjoyed being on the UW-Parkside campus.
“I fell in love with the area,” Frank said. “I like the landscape and the campus.”
Frank signed his letter of intent in the Mt. Pleasant Community High School library this morning. Pictured, from left, are Mt. “Cameron is the epitome of hard work, dedication and determination,” Rundquist said. “To see it pay off for him means the most to me. He’s a winner — Wisconsin Parkside is getting a winner.”
