Gabeline – Brumwell wed
Sarah Ann Gabeline and Larry Cullen Brumwell exchanged vows on Saturday, Aug.17, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant. The Rev. Brian Swafford officiated the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Michael Gabeline ofYarmouth, Audra Vanderburg of Paris, Texas and Wayne and Katherine Brumwell ofYarmouth. Grandparents are Robert Gabeline ofYarmouth, Marlene Reid of New London, Betty Buchmayer of Solon, Nelma Rae Tharp of Paris, Texas and Vernon and Linda Brumwell of Chappell Hill, Texas.
The bride wore a Maggie Sottero Wedding Dress. The Lovelle Taffeta ball gown featured a skirt with blossoms and a detachable Swarovski crystal beaded belt, finished with corset back closure.
She wore a pearl and crystal bracelet, a gift from the groom and carried an all-white bouquet of garden roses, dahlias, hydrangeas and hypericum berries.
The bride’s matron of honor was, Tiffany Pusateri of Paris, Texas Bridesmaids were Crenna Brumwell Sahm, sister of the groom of Dubuque, Candace Yaross of Paris, Texas and Jesika McLaughlin of Mediapolis, friends of the bride and Alexandra Gabeline of Danville and Brilee Gabeline Yarmouth both cousins of the bride. They wore an ivory linen cocktail dress featuring one shoulder, and gathered side detail and carried bouquets of roses, carnations and tufts of babiesbreath.
Corbin Brumwell of North Liberty, was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Anthony Sahm, brother-in-law of the groom of Dubuque, Jason Hack of Wilton, N.Y., Mike Groen of LaCrosse, Wisc., Jason Denning of Mt. Pleasant and Trent Wellman of Ankeny, all friends of the groom.
Ushers were Jeremy Gabeline ofYarmouth, brother of the bride, Joel Baker of Sperry, Casey Jackson of Mediapolis, Zach Kriess of Davenport and Jacob Nye of New London, all friends of the groom. Candle lighters were Drew Kelly and Matt Fitzpatrick of New London, friends of the groom.
Assistants to the bride were Sarah Brumwell of North Liberty, sister-in-law of the groom and Tanya Stanford of Wapello, friend of the bride.
Music was provided by “Great River Strings”, Burlington A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the home of the brides’ grandfather, Robert Gabeline, rural Yarmouth.
The bride is a registered nurse at Henry County Health Center, Mt. Pleasant and the groom is the owner of CropStar Consulting, Yarmouth.
The couple make their home in Mt. Union.
