Goble intends to major in biology at Quincy.
“Quincy has a very good biology program, and their softball team is very fun to be around — it’s very homey,” Goble said.
The senior decided this year that she’d like to become a dermatologist.
“It just kind of hit me the last few months,” she said.
On the softball field, she’s looking forward to a higher level of competition.
“The competition will be a lot harder, and it will help me develop as a player,” she said.
Before taking the diamond for Quincy, however, Goble has one more year with the Panthers. Last season, she led the team in hitting with a .443 average and .679 slugging percentage.
“I think we have a really good chance of winning conference (this season),” she said.
