Grace Schoonover, 86, Chenoa, Ill., died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington with the Rev. James Messer officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, Ill.is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa or the Alzheimer’s Association.

She was born Dec. 23, 1925, in Washington, the daughter of Henry J. and Sara Jessie Fielden Schoonover.
She was a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich. She was a certified public accountant at both, Peat-Marwick-Mitchell, Chicago, Ill., and later the Mobil Oil Company. She retired on Aug. 1, 1987.
Her interests included traveling restoring homes, and being with small children as well as older people.
Surviving is a sister, Fae Andriano, Salt Lake City, Utah; several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Donna Schoonover, Washington.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Ralph Schoonover; four sisters, Helen Coats, Margaret Schoonover, Inez Patterson and Joan Messer.
