Iowa J of Wayland National T.T.T. Society celebrates Christmas, 85th anniversary
Eleven members of Chapter Iowa J, Wayland, of the National T.T.T. Society met Tuesday evening, Dec. 27, 2016, at 6 p.m., at The Prime Diner, in Wayland.
Members ordered from the diner’s menu. President Georgia Fort called the meeting to order and a warm welcome was extended to special guest, Heather Freyenberger.
Minutes of the Nov. 22, 2016, meeting were reviewed. Katy Samo read a thank you note from the Glen Seberg family, and shared Tidbits and Tales. Diann Miller gave her treasurer’s report, reporting a very nice sum from the bake sale and soup luncheon. A memorial donation will be sent to the National Project Fund in memory of Glen Seberg, husband of member Louise Seberg, father-in-law of member Cindy Seberg, and grandfather of member Shelly Seberg.
The next meeting will be held on Feb. 28, 2017, at 7 p.m., at the Wayland Community Center. Iowa J will not meet in January.
President Fort declared the business meeting adjourned.
Following adjournment, a time of visiting and a gift exchange was had.
