Irene Leola Wilson, 81, West Point, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital in Ft. Madison.
Friends may call between noon and 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point. The family will meet with friends from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point with the Rev. Richard Eis officiating.
Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, rural Ft. Madison.
Memorials have been established in her memory.

Born Sept. 21, 1931, in the Pleasant Ridge Township near West Point, she was the daughter of Roy and Maude (Bogert) Wilson.
She was a member of the West Point Presbyterian Church and in earlier years was an assistant organist for the church. She attended Woolen’s Corner Grade School and Denmark Grade School. In later years, she and her brother farmed the home place together until their retirement. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, her dog and cooking.
Survivors include her brother, Dale Wilson of West Point.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
