Students had been preparing the repertoire at their home schools for two months before coming together at IWC as a group. High schools represented were Cardinal Community Schools, Central Lee Community Schools, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont High School, Fairfield High School, Louisa-Muscatine High School, Mid-Prairie High School, Van Buren High School, Washington High School and West Burlington High School.
The choir, conducted by Dr. Bradley Miller, professor of music and director of choral and vocal activities at Iowa Wesleyan College, sang selections chosen by Dr. Sandra Snow who will conduct the Iowa All-State Choir in two weeks at the Iowa Music Educators Association conference held at Iowa State University. Several students from the Honor Choir were also selected to participate in the All-State Choir.
