IWC volleyball edges Knox in five sets
The Iowa Wesleyan volleyball team picked up the win Tuesday night against non-conference opponent Knox College.
The Tigers took five sets to defeat the Prairie Fire (25-14, 25-21, 16-25, 24-26, 15-8), and the win moves IWC to 9-16 on the year.
Marissa Bozik had a huge match for the Tigers, recording 20 kills on 44 attempts. Dakota Flesner added 10 kills and 13 digs in the match.
Lindsey Johnson had 37 of the Tigers' 50 assists on the night.
Logan Chiri played strong defensively with 18 digs. She currently sits at No. 1 in the SLIAC for digs on the season.
Emily West and Erica Rookstool each recorded two solo blocks against Knox.
The Tigers return to action on Tuesday when they host conference opponent Greenville College at 7 p.m. in Ruble Arena.
