Jerry H. Boeding
Jerry H. Boeding, 59, of West Point, died on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, near West Point.
His body has been entrusted to Schmitz Funeral Home for cremation. Friends may call and meet with the family from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Schmitz Funeral Home, in West Point. A luncheon to follow the visitation will be at the West Point American Legion.

Boeding was born on Aug. 11, 1957, in Ft. Madison, the son of Eugene A. and Doris A. (Abolt) Boeding. He was a 1976 graduate of Ft. Madison High School. On Oct. 3, 1987, he married Brenda Rempe, in West Point.
He worked for Siemens Plant in Burlington (the former Dresser Rand).
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, in West Point.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and farming.
Boeding is survived by his wife, Brenda, of West Point; his mother, Doris Boeding, of West Point; three brothers, Wayne (Danielle) Boeding, of Keokuk; Steve (Sherry) Boeding, of West Point; and Ken (Delain) Boeding, of Danville; and one sister, Sandra (Tom) Klesener, of West Point.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene.
