Jerry W. McClure
Jerry W. McClure, 56 of Keosauqua, died on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at University Hospital, in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Pedrick Funeral Home, in Keosauqua, with family officiating. Visitation will open at 3 p.m., on Friday, at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m., for a time of visitation and celebration. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery, in Keosauqua.
Memorials to Shriner Children’s Hospitals may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 1365 250th Avenue, West Point, Iowa 52656.
McClure was born on June 9, 1960, in Keosauqua, the son of Norlan L. and Shirley A. Livesay McClure. He graduated from Van Buren High School in 1978, and had attended classes at Indian Hills. He married Gwen Troutman in 1981. They later divorced.
He was a truck driver and later a truck dispatcher.
He enjoyed driving semi-trucks and spending time with his family.
McClure is survived by two sons, Nick McClure, of Keosauqua, and Matthew (Britany) McClure, of West Point; a grandson; his parents; a brother, Gary Dean (Amy) McClure, of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Debbie Ann (Troy) Patterson, of West Burlington; and his ex-wife, Gwen Troutman.
