Karen Jo Mueller, 75, of Ft. Madison and formerly of Donnellson, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at The Madison in Ft. Madison from Multiple Myeloma cancer complications.

Friends may call and meet with the family from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson.

In lieu of flowers and food memorials may be made in her memory to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born May 16, 1938, in Keokuk, she was the daughter of Jay and Phoebe (Wardlow) Tweedy. On Jan. 31, 1959, she married Roy LaVerne Marsh. He preceded her in death. On May 16, 1997, she married Rex D. Mueller.

She graduated from Argyle Consolidated Schools in Argyle. She lived in Milaca, Minn., where she was employed by Mille Lacs County Extension Service, Mille Lacs County Social Services, J.A. Allen Insurance Agency and retired from First National Bank of Milaca in 1997. In Minnesota, she was a member of the United Methodist Church in Milaca and in Iowa, the Donnellson Presbyterian Church and she attended Zion Mennonite Church in Donnellson

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Roy C. (Mary) Marsh of Las Cruces, N.M. and Ray Marsh of Hastings, Minn.; two daughters, Valerie (Daren) Nelson of Princeton, Minn. and Rochelle (David) Lindsey of Collierville, Tenn.; one step-daughter, Kathy (Terry Pitts) Hall of Cedar Rapids; two step-sons Dan (Shelly) Mueller of Ft. Madison and Doug Mueller of Florida; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jay Dee (Joyce) Tweedy of Argyle, John Tweedy of Orlando, Fla. and Joe (Jan) Tweedy of Argyle; and two sisters, Elsie (Wayne) Stevens of Montrose and Ann (Larry) Tripp of Niota, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband and a grandson.
