Zack and Jennith Kirkbride of Mt. Pleasant celebrated the birth of their son, Kason James Kirkbride, on July 23, at Henry County Health Center.

He weighed 10 pounds and was 20 inches long at birth.

Grandparents are Brian and Arlene Hoel of Farmington and Dave Hassenfritz and Terri Mertens, both of Mt. Pleasant.

Great-grandparents are Marci Hassenfritz of Mt. Pleasant, Jim Morrison of Eureka, Calif., and Martha Briody of Bracey, Va.
