Linda Lee Kramer
Linda Lee Kramer, 67, Philip, S.D., and formerly Burlington, died April 6, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Tucson, Ariz.
Funeral services in Iowa and South Dakota are pending and will be announced when available. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association.
Elliot Chapel of New London is in charge of local arrangements.
She was born Sept. 25, 1945, to Orville (Tim) and Mathilda (Tillie) Long. She was raised on the family farm near Philip, S.D. She was baptized and confirmed at Philip’s Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. After graduating from Philip High School, she attended the American Business College in Rapid City, S.D. and earned a degree in business administration. She married John (Jack) Still in 1967. He preceded her in death.
In June 1970, she married Danny Kramer in Davenport. She resided in several states, including Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Washington and California. She made a career in the banking and mortgage industry. Following retirement, she moved from Moorpark, Calif., to Burlington. She enjoyed reading, golfing, genealogy, water aerobics, spending time with family and coin collecting.
She is survived by her husband of Philip, S.D.; her sons, John (Tonya) Kramer of Philip, S.D., Jason (Penelope) Kramer of Corona, Calif.; five grandchildren; and her sister, Sally (Arthur) Campbell of Port Washington, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Arnold; and her first husband.
