Mabeus named ‘Most Brotherly’
Mikayla Mabeus has been awarded the “Most Brotherly” award through her fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. The award went to one member out of the 80-member organization.
The “Most Brotherly” definition is someone who is loyal to the fraternity and its brothers as well as someone who is always willing to help others, in and outside of the fraternity. Members of Alpha Phi Omega and an executive board voted the award.
Alpha Phi Omega is a coed service fraternity that is based on the three principles of leadership, friendship and providing service to humanity.
Mabeus is a freshman and is part of the Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega at the University of Iowa. Alpha Phi Omega provides service on and off campus, such as at the U of Iowa Hospitals, the Ronald McDonald House and Dance Marathon. She is a health studies, pre-medicine major at the University of Iowa.
