Matt and Ashley Hobbs of Mt. Pleasant celebrated the birth of their daughter, Mara Faye Hobbs, on June 20, at Henry County Health Center.

She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 inches long at birth.

Grandparents are Cecil and Barb Hobbs of Kalona and Rick and Maxine Mabeus of Winfield.

Great-grandparents are Elvira Mabeus of Winfield, Jennie Small of Wapello, Marvin and Helen Hobbs of Morning Sun and Charolette Allen of New London.
