Martha Mae Wolfe Glaha
Martha Mae Wolfe Glaha, 73, of Keosauqua died Thursday, Sept. 5 2013 at the home of her daughter, Kimberly Maserang, in Bonaparte.
Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. Larry Shipley officiated. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril. Visitation opened at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with family present from 4 to 5 p.m. Gifts to a memorial to be designated later by the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 707 Main St., Bonaparte, Iowa 52620.
She was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Mt. Sterling to Leonard Kerle and Dorotha Evans Wolfe, and had been married to Harold Thomas Glaha.
She graduated from Van Buren High School in May 1957. She retired from Alaniz LLC in Mt Pleasant. She also worked at AJ’s Bar and Grill in Mt. Sterling and enjoyed being on the baseball field.
Surviving are her seven children, Kimberly (Tom) Maserang of Bonaparte, Ted (Lisa) Glaha of La Belle, Mo., Bill (Virginia) Glaha of Englewood, Colo., Kevin (Cathy) Glaha of Mt. Pleasant, Trisha (Spring) Glaha of Burlington, Tracey Blanchard of Ft. Madison, Mark Glaha of New London; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dean and Billy Wolfe.
