Enjoying the sun but fighting the wind, Elle Schleisman shot a 43 to take medalist honors.
“Elle Schleisman’s medalist score of 43 was outstanding as she gained more confidence with each hole she played,” Coach Jim Kelly said.
The runner-up medalist was Brianne Holtkamp, as she shot a 50, her lowest score of the season. Haley Booton also scored a 50 for the Panthers, and Courtney Mabeus shot a 51 to round out the team score.

“We now leave our comfort zone, playing on our home course, and need to take this confidence we’ve gained to other courses in Southeast Iowa,” Kelly said.

They will play in the Central Lee Invite at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
