MP JV boys pull out a win over Keokuk
The Mt. Pleasant JV boys’ basketball team won a 60-57 overtime thriller against Keokuk on Friday.
“It was a battle all night,” Coach Tyler Rodgers said. “Lots of guys stepped up and made a big shot or a stop on defense. It was good to be on the winning side of one of these close games we've been in all year.”
Dustin Amos and Zach Mulford led the scoring with 16 and 15 points, respectively, and Beau Parkevich added 10 points.
Carson Remick pulled down six rebounds to lead that category, while Tyler Pace had five assists and three steals.
The Panthers will play again this Friday at Ft. Madison as part of a freshman/JV/varsity tripleheader, starting at 4:45 p.m.
