Mt. Pleasant boys’ golf falls to KeokukDaniel earns runner-up medalist honors at Southeat Conference dual meet
KEOKUK — Keokuk’s Blake Miller shot a 39 to lead the field at the Southeast Conference boys’ golf meet between Mt. Pleasant and the Chiefs on Monday night, and Keokuk picked up a 171-182 win over the Panthers.
Quinn Daniel had the low score for Mt. Pleasant, shooting a 40 on the par-36 course to earn runner-up medalist honors.
Kiley Miller had a score of 44 and William Kinney shot a 47. Kyle Kauffman and Jacob Smith each finished the course in 51 strokes, and Jordon Phomsouvandara shot a 56 at the Keokuk Country Club.
Next up for the Panthers is a trip to Fairfield on Thursday, where they will compete against the Trojans in another Southeast Conference dual, starting at 3 p.m.
