New London falls to Holy Trinity Catholic
FT. MADISON — Holy Trinity Catholic claimed victory in a pair of Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division games against New London on Tuesday night, beating the Tiger boys by a score of 75-30 and winning the game against the Tiger girls, 52-30.
In the boys’ game, New London (3-13 overall, 3-11 SEISC South) was led by Quincy Porter’s 10 points and Tristan Kadel’s six rebounds. Kadel also chipped in eight points.
In the girls’ game, Morgan Christner scored 14 points for New London, which fell to 5-12 on the season and 4-10 in the SEISC South.
Sarah Holtkamp added seven points and Josten Boyer tallied six.
Christner also had a team-high nine rebounds.
The Tigers play again Friday night at Notre Dame in Burlington.
The JV girls play at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity girls and varsity boys.
