New London girls’ golf wins SEISC tournament
FT. MADISON — The New London girls’ golf team won the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division tournament at Sheaffer Golf Course on Monday, led by Emma Pry’s score of 94.
Pry had the third-lowest score in the South Division and was named first team all-conference for her efforts. Victoria Noel also made first team with her score of 96, as did Jorgi Krieger with her score of 99.
The other three New London golfers were named to the second team all-conference: Baylee Lindell (101), Sami Koontz (102) and Breanna Stevens (103).
The tournament medalist was Alex Krehbiel of Central Lee (82), and Notre Dame/West Burlington’s TaKana Shimbukaro was the runner up (87).
The Tigers finished with a team total of 390, more than 40 strokes ahead of second place. Van Buren was the runner up at 431. They were followed by Central Lee, 442; Holy Trinity, 490; Notre Dame/West Burlington, 503; Danville, 534; and IMS, 544.
