Polishville announces events
A dance, with Ned Francis of Mt. Sterling providing the music, is set for Sunday. Food will be for sale at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6-9 p.m.
A second dance, with Goodman/Anders of North English and Newhall providing the music, is set for Sept. 22. Food will be for sale at 4:30 p.m., and dancing will be from 6-9 p.m.
Bingo is set for Sept. 9 and Sept. 23. At both events, food will be available at 4:30 p.m., and games will begin at 5:45 p.m.
About 50 tractors participating in the Tractor Crusade of Mt. Pleasant will be at the Polishville Community Center for lunch at noon Sept. 21. Guests are welcome.
The dances and bingo games also are open to the public, and people of all ages can attend.

Polishville is 10 miles northeast of Fairfield on Pleasant Plain Road, then 2.5 miles east on 136th Street.
