Presentation on homelessness in Iowa will be given at IWC
The students of Iowa Wesleyan College's 'Habilitating the Homeless' Service-Learning project will deliver a presentation focusing on the state of homelessness in Iowa on Thursday, April 10, at 11 a.m.
The presentation will offer information about homelessness and offer solutions that make a difference. The service-learning project is a component of Dr. Joy Lapp’s Ethics: Life and Career class.
The program will be held in the Iowa Wesleyan College Science Hall auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
The program will precede a paper products drive for the Burlington Area Homeless Shelter.
The public is invited to bring donations of paper plates, cups, napkins, cutlery, toilet paper and paper towels.
