Ronald Edwin Christner
Ronald Edwin Christner, 74, Wayland, Mo., died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, in the emergency room of Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, Mo.
Funeral services were to be held Monday, Aug. 19, at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka, Mo., with the Rev. Tom Lemons officiating. Burial was at 3:30 p.m. Monday at White Oak Cemetery in Lockridge.
Friends called at Wilson Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Monday with family receiving friends from noon until time of services.
Memorials are suggested to be used to pay final expenses.

He was born Oct. 26, 1938, in Lockridge, and was the son of Dale Edwin and Darlene Hendricks Christner.
He married Carolyn Miller. He later married Brenda Robben.
He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1958.
He was a career over-the-road truck driver and worked until his health forced him to retire. He was a long-time member of the St. Francisville United Methodist Church. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.
Survivors include his three children, Rhonda Hennings, Wendy (David) Lynn, and Eric (Kirsten) Christner, all of Wayland, Iowa; a step-daughter, Anita (Steve Novacek) Robben of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers, Arnold (Billie) Christner of Rifle, Colo., Gene (Sandy) Christner of Mt. Pleasant, Michael (Tess) Christner of North Liberty; two sisters, Mary (George) Parker of New London, and Sherry (Harold) Grant of Wayland, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Wanda Ridinger; and a step-son, Eric Robben.
