The Warriors dropped a close second set against Columbus, 25-22, but won the other three by scores of 25-22, 25-12 and 25-21 to claim an SEISC North victory and improve to 9-10 (2-3) on the season.
The Wolves won the first two sets, 25-23 and 25-16, but couldn’t quite pull off a sweep, falling in the third by a score of 25-23. They came back with a big win in the fouth set, 25-6, to end the match and up their record to 15-9 (3-2).
The Mt. Pleasant girls’ cross-country team placed third of six teams at Williamsburg on Tuesday, led by top-10 finishers Ellie Conrad (second) and Beth Wells (seventh).
The Mt. Pleasant boys’ cross-country team also placed third of six teams at Williamsburg on Tuesday. They were led by top-10 finishers Logan Murray (second) and Adam Bodenham (10th).
