SEISO announces spring concerts
The Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra will present its 62nd season Spring Concerts with the music of Mozart, Weber and Manuel de Falla.
Performances will be held Saturday, March 23, 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium in Burlington; Sunday March 24, at 3 p.m. at Indian Hills Community College St. John Auditorium in Ottumwa; and again Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Iowa Wesleyan College Chapel Auditorium in Mt. Pleasant.
Tickets may be purchased at the door.
Before the performance, Music Director Robert McConnell will be on hand 45 minutes before performances for a “prelude” to talk about the music and the orchestra’s guest artist, Jen Augello.
“Prelude” is supported through a grant from the Charles W. Rand Memorial Lecture Fund in Burlington and is offered free of charge to all audience members.
