Nathaniel Smith of Mt. Pleasant, accompanied his fraternity to improve the Canton, Mo., community.
Members of the Eta Omicron Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega at Culver-Stockton College donated over 75 hours of service to the Canton Fire Department, Sunday, Sept. 29. The station was thoroughly cleaned and received some overdue maintenance and organization.
"As a fraternity, we believe it is important to give back to the community. With five volunteer firefighters in our chapter, we have a strong connection with the department and we had the desire to devote our time to those who protect our community," said John McBride, president of the organization.
