T.T.T. Tour of Homes: The Ryon’s
Joel and Heidi Ryon’s home was built in 2002 by the Van Trumps. The Ryon’s moved to Mt. Pleasant in 2007 for Joel Ryon’s job as a family physician at Family Medicine of Mt. Pleasant.
The couple wanted to raise their children in a smaller community. According to Heidi Ryon, “We have the best of both worlds here. We get to live in a private, quiet, wooded area and can be anywhere in town in five minutes. Plus, we have the best place to park during Old Thresher’s.”
The home has seen some additions from the original. The Ryon’s added a sunroom which overlooks the woods and a 125-gallon saltwater fish tank in the basement, which, “Joel loves,” said Heidi Ryon.
The Ryon’s look forward to sharing their home with the community.
The T.T.T. Tour of Homes begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, and runs until 5 p.m. There are three homes featured as well as the Airport Road Vineyard.
