Two-vehicle colision caused by out-of-state drivers
A two-vehicle accident occurred yesterday at the intersection of Washington Street and Grand Avenue, involving two out-of-state drivers.
A 2006 Pontiac, driven by Joyce Kiersey of Arizona was stopped, facing north on Grand Avenue, when the Pontiac was struck from behind by a 2010 Lexis, driven by Kristine Winklepleck of Wisconsin, who was traveling northbound on Grand Avenue.
No injuries were reported, although damage to both vehicles was estimated at $6,000.
Winklepleck was cited for failure to maintain control.
