Two vehicles collide on slick streets
Road conditions may have been a factor, according to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, in a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Monday, Dec. 19, in Mt. Pleasant.
The accident report said a 2002 Pontiac, driven by Amanda McClain, of Mt. Pleasant, was eastbound on Madison Street and failed to stop for the stop sign at Walnut Street.
The McClain vehicle was struck by a northbound 2015 Subaru, driven by Kevin Arensdorf, of Anamosa.
Total damage was listed at $4,000. McClain was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
