Mt. Pleasant City Council members passed the first reading last night of a major overhaul of the city’s junk vehicle ordinance. Mayor Steve Brimhall said they are reworking the ordinance because “we are trying to do something people have wanted to have done for a long time.” Under the new ordinance, the vehicle pictured would likely be in violation because of the lack of full glass, among other things.
