WACO competes at Demon Relays
The WACO boys’ and girls’ track and field teams competed in the Demon Relays in Washington on Thursday night, where the girls’ placed fifth of six teams and the boys placed seventh in a field of seven. The Warriors didn’t take home any first-place finishes, but the girls had one silver medal and the boys placed second three events.

The WACO sprint medley team of Morgan Dugger, Angel Frier, Skriver and Jennie Greene led the girls’ team as the runner-up in their event with a time of 2:04.66.
For the boys, Dylan Carlson took second in the 110-meter high hurdles (16.16 seconds), the sprint medley team of Kevin Anderson, Brett Hesseltine, Tyler Ayers and Klinton Garrett also placed second with a time of 3:58.89. Anderson was the runner-up in the high jump at 6-0.
