Wayne Soil Savers 4-H club holds meeting, discusses fair
The meeting of the Wayne Soil Savers was called to order at 7:01 p.m. at the Sheetz's residence on May 18.
The roll call was summer plans and was answered by 10 members and one leader. The pledge of allegiance was lead by Jake Sheetz and the 4-H pledge was lead by Grace Sheetz.
The secretary's report was given by Sarah Overberg and the treasurer's report was given by Sterling Wickham.
The old business included the new leaders taking over, sheep weigh-in on May 3, T-shirt orders on May 1, animal identification forms on May 15, conference forms May 1, fair project deadlines and the FSQA testing on June 9.
The new business included fair books passed out, fair booth ideas, fair set up on July 14, Judging on projects on July 15, antique car patrol on July 19 and pin count.
Presentations were given by Sarah Overberg on pet adoption, Christian Oetken on judging cattle and Jake Sheetz on showing cattle.
The hosts were Sarah Overberg and the Sheetz's family.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m
