Zahs to hold event on Oct. 5
Michael Zahs, a national social studies teacher award winner, is steeped in historic Iowa information.
This fall Zahs uses letters, diary entries and other writings of early women to tell the story of life in 19th century Iowa.
This program will take place in the meeting room at the Fairfield Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m.
Jefferson County Conservation has received funding from Humanities Iowa, a private non-profit state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, to host Early Iowa History Through the Writings of Women .
