WACO’s Bailey Graber signed her letter of intent to attend AIB College of Business in Des Moines and play volleyball for the Eagles next season.

Graber signed her letter in the WACO gym yesterday. Pictured, from left, are Jay Coble, Graber’s WACO volleyball coach this year; Bailey Graber; and Amanda Graber, Bailey’s mother.

The Eagles are coached by Jodi Butler. They went 4-36 last season.

“I look forward to getting better and having a fun experience with the team,” Graber said of joining the AIB squad.

She was able to meet a couple of her future teammates at her tryout, which was part of her college visit — and the visit help her decide that she wanted to attend AIB.

“It’s a good business school, and I’m going to for accounting,” Graber said. “I liked ... how small the classes are, and that there are no dorms — it’s all apartment-style housing.”

Graber played on the WACO volleyball team that went 18-17 this past season. She has also participated in basketball, golf and softball at WACO.
