How do I spell that?

By LYDIA BAKER-CRAWLEY, Mt. Pleasant News | Sep 22, 2010

Fourth grade students in Henry County will no longer have to ask “Teacher, how do I spell…?” thanks to the Noon and Evening Rotary Clubs. This is the sixth year that the Rotary has distributed dictionaries to Henry County fourth grade students. Noon Rotary member Rich Mueller, pictured left, and Evening Rotary member Clinton Rila, pictured center, distributed dictionaries to the students of Mrs. Conrad’s, pictured right, class at Lincoln Elementary this morning. The students pictured are examining the longest word in the English language, a 1,909 letter name for a protein. The members also distributed dictionaries to Mrs. Klopfenstein’s class across the hallway and will be distributing to fourth grades in Mt. Pleasant, New London, Salem, WMU, and WACO in the days to come.
