Alzheimer’s Association hosting free educational classes Jan. 31

The Alzheimer’s Association is offering two free educational classes for the general public on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the Burlington Public Library, Meeting Room A, 210 Court St.

The first class, Healthy Living for Your Brain & Body is from 1 to 2:30 p.m. This class explores the latest research on the question of whether healthy living may improve cognitive health as we age and whether or not it may reduce the risk of getting Alzheimer’s and related diseases.

The second class, An Update on Research, will be from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m., briefly addresses the history of the search for effective treatments. This class will offer a hopeful view on the promise of effective breakthroughs on the horizon.
